Sarah Miller & Partners worked as part of a bespoke team created by Phaidon on the production of a beautiful coffee table book.

London Uprising: Fifty Fashion Designers, One City, published by Phaidon in February 2017, offers an insight into the city’s leading fashion houses and design talents.

As Content Editor, Sarah and the Sarah Miller & Partners team worked with Co-Editors Tania Fares, of the British Fashion Trust, and Sarah Mower, of Vogue. Together, they commissioned London’s best fashion editors and writers to profile 50 leading fashion designers, from Sir Paul Smith to Stella McCartney.

Designed by David James Associates, the book features specially-commissioned portraits of the designers in their London studios, giving an unprecedented view into the exclusive world of London’s fashion scene. Sarah Miller & Partners’ Art Director Caroline Metcalfe also worked on the book, collating images of the designers’ personal ephemera, sketches and work.

Sarah Miller & Partners also assisted in the coordination of publicity events in the run-up to the book’s star-studded launch at Sotheby’s.
